PARTNERSHIP MODEL

MigrationWare can operate both as prime contractors and as sub-contractors. As sub-contractors, MigrationWare understands that Service Partners (usually System Integrators) have a vested interest in having a long term relationship with the Client. As such, MigrationWare expects the Service Partners to be the primary contractor/programme manager and for MigrationWare to act as sub-contractors to the Service Partner.

In this way the Service Partners, together with the Client, would in a typical migration scenario provide:

• Project Management;
• Technical resources required to create the new development and production environment on the target platform;
• Systems Users to use the existing system to generate test data;
• Programmers to test the converted application;
• The implementation of the converted application into production.

As sub-contractors, MigrationWare believes that we will add the most value by providing:

• Services and targeted technologies to convert Application Source Code to the target platform
• Services and targeted technologies to convert Databases and Data to the target platform;
• Services and targeted technologies to convert JCL’s to the target platform;
• Testing tools to automate some of the conversion test process;
• On-site support services to:
  • Ensure effective liaison between Service Partners and MigrationWare;
  • Assist Service Partners to effectively use the MigrationWare tools (if appropriate);
  • Assist Service Partners with the testing process for the converted application.
