MigrationWare IDEAL/DATACOM translators achieve very high rates of automated translation, delivering clean, compiled, functionally equivalent COBOL code.

MigrationWare has tools that will convert IDEAL code to run as conversational COBOL applications.  Alternatively, the converted application will be generated to produce re-architected COBOL code that will run pseudo-conversationally. These re-architected applications may be deployed as CICS applications on the chosen platform, or alternatively they may be deployed as Direct COBOL web-services by means of Micro Focus Enterprise Server. The presentation layer can be converted to Microsoft .NET Visual C#, and if the application is deployed as EJB’s, the presentation layer can be converted to HTML pages using JavaScript.
